William K. "Bill" Moss

William K. “Bill” Moss, 86, of Reidland passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024.

He was member of State Street Baptist Church in Hammond, IN. He was born in McCracken Country to the late George and Estelle Moss. Bill was a graduate of Heath High School and married his high school sweetheart, Ella Joe Cooper Moss.  They were blessed with two sons, David and Donald Moss. Bill retired from BF Goodrich in Calvert City as a chemical operator. He enjoyed his motorcycles and was a member of the Harley owners’ group. Bill enjoyed his rides with his son, David, and a group of retired friends.  He enjoyed spending time with his family most, especially his granddaughters. He also enjoyed watching UK Basketball.

Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Ella Joe Cooper Moss; grandchildren, Heather (Keith Jr.) Murt of Paducah, Jessica (Daniel) Davis, and Jordan Moss both of California; his great-grandchildren, Conner (Abbie) Murt and Chloe Murt both of Paducah; several cousins, nieces, and nephews ; and a special daughter-in-law, Rhonda Shaw.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Estelle Moss; his two sons, David Moss and Donald Moss; and one brother, Michael Moss.

Graveside services will be at 2:00pm on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at Woodville Cemetery with the Rev. Keith Tilford officiating. Burial will follow.
